What happens at the lake, stays at the lake…(and on this blog)

We just returned home from a long weekend at Lake of the Woods. I had been looking forward to this weekend for a long time since it would be the first time since New Year’s Eve that the Chasey’s, Ball’s and soon-to-be Zayner’s would be together again. It was also the first time we got to see the newly-engaged couple! We made some good memories and finally agreed upon a yearly tradition: bathing together in the lake and swimming to the buoy (which appears to be a lot closer than it really is). We had so much fun skiing, tubing, playing euchre & cornhole, making breakfast for each other each morning…it was a great weekend. We love you guys and miss you already.
