Happy Valentine’s Day

We typically don’t celebrate Valentine’s Day as a “roses and chocolate” kind of holiday. We did spend the day together, though. Today we went to the mall for a bit in the morning and then stopped by the library to pick up some movies. It’s been another snowy day, so it was nice to relax at home, watch a few movies and bake cookies together. We had to make do with what we had in the house (we are in serious need of going to the grocery store) and made chocolate sugar cookies from an old Real Simple recipe I had saved. We improvised on a few ingredients and added one very important ingredient at Ross’s request: white chocolate chips. They’re delicious with a cup of milk!
