Sold and Closed
2009 August 28

We bought a house! And today, August 28, we closed the deal. Looking at the picture above you may think that it is brick, but it’s not. Needless to say, we have a few projects to do before moving, and I am sure that you’ll hear about some of them here.

wow, your place looks adorable! congrats, olsen fam!
I LOVE the little Dewey house! It is so you (two and soon to be three).
Many blessings, and sincere wishes for much happiness and good times are sent your way!
Love,
Mom O.
Hi Guys — You must be very excited as your lives take new shapes (no pun intended Heather!) All the best. Love Aunt Karen and Uncle Mike
I love that more people can make comments on this blog versus our old one! Thanks for all of the well wishes in our new home. We’re excited!
Super cute! I’m confused about the brick comment though. Is it a brick veneer? Or, God forbid, painted on?
Congratulations on your new house, it is great now, but know soon it will be a designer looking place! Many happy memories will be created in this house:)
Thanks for all the comments! Regarding the brick, the house is currently brick veneer, so it is kind of a faux brick, at least for now.
It is beautiful ! What room has the lovely bay window ? The “brick” looks great…. neighbors aren’t too close…front lawn is pretty… tomatoes in the back ? This is so you guys !! What is the walkability factor like ?
