So, I may be ruining a birthday surprise for a very special little girl who is about to turn 2, but I just had to post a picture of my new favorite craft, modeled by my sweet baby. The bright pink piece of the flower is a yo-yo – one of the many I’ve been creating for Analiese’s mobile to hang over her changing area. Both the yo-yo and scrap flower (yellow piece) are very easy to make.
For the record, I am not a fan of headbands on babies without hair. I realize that it would help strangers figure out if it’s a boy or a girl more easily, but it’s just not my thing. The great part about this little flower doo-dad is that you can make it whatever you want it to be – I think it would also look great on a jacket or top by adding a sew-on pin-back. All I know is, I want to make one for every little girl I know.
Gosh she is just beautiful!!!
Ditto to Bev. You can’t help but smile back…and that twinkle in Analiese’s eyes, oh my!
Adorable! She is going to love it.
Please make me one! ;-) I AM a fan of headbands, says the mom of four bald babies!
