Channeling John and Sherry Part 2

Remember my asymmetrical frame collage tutorial? Well, John and Sherry from Young House Love used the same method to hang a wall full of frames.

The final result is stunning! And, they’re planning to do the same thing on the other side of the hallway. (Note to self: start collecting white frames.)

The title of this post also reminded me that I never posted anything about what we decided to do above our couch. Oops!

The truth is, our living room has been a constant work in progress and I’ve been wanting to show off the “final result”, but we’re still a few projects away from that. So, for the time being, here’s what we did above the couch:

Oh, hi Parker!

It’s not the photo ledge we originally wanted to do, but we really love the opportunity to display some of our recent family photos in the room where we spend the most time. (Side note: Every time I see the third photo on Jenn’s blog, I think for a quick second that H. Ross is wearing bright orange velvet boots. He’s not. It’s just a pillow.)
