6-8 Weeks Project: Week 4

2012 June 1

I’m taking a photograph of Analiese each day until the new baby arrives to document our last 6-8 weeks as a family of three. Here is week 4:

We started the day with dancing in the living room to Whitney Houston’s Greatest Hits. Spoons were a must. Then, we headed over to a friend’s house to take a nap while Mama set up for a party the next day. We stayed up late to go to the season’s first concert in the park.

We ran some basement related errands this morning before Mama headed over to the party to play hostess. You came later with Daddy and enjoyed drinking chocolate milk and eating yummy cookies. You also played with some friends and dolls while we were there.

One of the Sunday school teachers told us that you are very encouraging to the other kids…”Good job!” After church, we went out for lunch to celebrate Mama and Daddy’s wedding anniversary and then later played with play dough outside since it was such a pretty day.

We thought you had a swim lesson this morning, but it was cancelled, so we just went to the outdoor pool. You loved playing “Ring Around the Rosie” with Daddy and then dipping your head in the water when you “fell down.”

We were very lazy this morning with no plans until a friend called. We quickly got ready to meet them at IKEA for free food and a little bit of shopping for your bedroom. It turned out to be a fun day, but you were pretty worn out.

Disclaimer: This photo was not taken on this day, but somehow, I didn’t take any pictures on May 29!

Gigi came to visit today to help paint the basement. She brought you some colored pencils and stickers. You always love going through her purse to find new things to play with…like her glasses. You must wonder why people wear things that make it hard to see!

Matching plaid shirt day! We spent the morning shopping for Hayden Kate with Gigi. Somehow, you managed to get a few things, too, like your first hula hoop! We ate lunch out which was yummy, but you weren’t a fan of the music, especially the guitar case?
